David N. Greenwald began his career as a clerk to Richard A. Posner. He then joined Cravath, Swaine & Moore and, a few years later, became a federal prosecutor. In 2000, he rejoined Cravath and became a partner. As a partner, he taught the firm’s required writing courses. He writes the “Respectfully Submitted” column for the ABA Litigation Journal and teaches writing CLEs at law firms. He graduated summa cum laude from Harvard and with high honors from the Univ. of Chicago Law School.
