Joseline Jean-Louis Hardrick ( pronounced joz-lyn zhuhn loo-ee hard- rick) is a professor at Cooley Law School, teaching Criminal Law and Procedure, Constitutional Law and Legislation, Regulation, and Statutory Interpretation. She previously served as a federal judicial law clerk in the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, and a litigation associate with Bush Ross, P.A., and was twice designated a Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine.
Professor Hardrick is the founder of Diversity Access Pipeline. Inc. This nonprofit organization runs the Journey to Esquire® Scholarship & Leadership Program, which creates lawyers who lead, mentor and inspire, one student at a time. She received The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division 2019 Diversity Award, the George Edgecomb Delano Stewart Award for Diversity, The Florida Bar‘s Professionalism Award, the Society of American Law Teachers Junior Faculty Award and the ABA Pipeline Council Alexander Rising Star Award for Excellence in Pipeline Diversity for her work with Journey to Esquire.
She is an award-winning filmmaker and the author of numerous books, including Finding Joy in the Journey to Esquire: A Guide to Renewal for Lawyers and Law Students, Pre-Law BE§T MODE, and Bar Exam BE§T MODE. She has also published several children’s books celebrating diversity, encouraging mindfulness, and educating children on the law.
