Michal Rogson is a Vice President in the Commercial Department of Skyward Specialty
Insurance Company, and is a leading expert in the field of court bonds. Michal joined the
Skyward team in 2023 after serving as Vice President of the Court Bond department at Tokio
Marine HCC Surety Group for eighteen years. Prior to joining TMHCC, Michal spent eight
years as a litigator with several law firms serving both sides of insurance coverage disputes and
gaining expertise in various areas of insurance law. She is a graduate of the Hebrew University
of Jerusalem law school and has an LL.M. in Negotiation, Mediation and Alternative Dispute
Resolution from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in NY. She has served as an expert
witness as well as a PMK regarding court bonds in claims litigation and is the author of various
articles on the subject of litigation and fiduciary bonds. She is admitted to practice law in the
States of New York and California as well as in the country of Israel and is a licensed P&C
producer in California.
When not working, Michal enjoys spending time with her family (two-legged and four legged!),
writing and performing in parody music videos, taking hip hop dance classes, and karaoke.
